Alex Miller

I have lived in Spokane for over 10 years. I graduated from SCC in the Software Development program. I used to be a professional photographer and graphic designer for many years. I went to further my education as a graphic designer but quickly learned that I loved coding more and switched to software development.

My husband and I are high school sweethearts from Yakima and have been together for 18 years. We have two adorable little girls together. My oldest is 9 years old. She is non-verbal and on the autism spectrum. She works harder than anyone I know and amazes me every day! My youngest is 7 years old and is an absolute character. Everyone that meets her says that she is going to be a stand up comedian one day and I am here for it. I am very proud of my girls. They light up my life every day. 

I have spent the last 9 years taking care of my oldest and finding her the best care and services I could by constant advocacy, creating a community and volunteer public relations work for mental and behavioral health companies. I have been able to balance motherhood and being a full-time student. Now that I have completed school and my kids are flourishing, I am ready to get back into the workforce.
